Hartwick (Hartwig) Family

The Hartwigs, as they were known upon their arrival in Canada in 1877, arrived from Germany and settled in the Killaloe area. After becoming citizens, Frederick Wilhelm and Henrietta Splettstosser changed their last name to Hartwick. Killaloe Millennium Museum Exhibit.
