Writing Workshop with Frieda Wishinsky

Frieda Wishinsky is a 2016 Killaloe Kids BookFest alumnus. She returns to Killaloe on Friday, April 20 to give a ninety minute hands-on workshop for adult writers of all kinds (from the aspiring to the already-published). She will guide participants in the varied, creative and fun ways we can use our stories and unique voices to shape our writing.

The workshop is limited to ten participants. Frieda will guide you through the writing process from brainstorming ideas, to writing an outline (and why it helps to write one), to research, opening strong, ending with a punch and writing clearly. We talk about plot, characters, theme and the importance of revision. Then we write together and share some of what we have written.

Cost: $30, which includes one of Frieda’s books, personally autographed
